Team Building Event Scout24 SE
The city of Potsdam delights visitors time and again with its history, tree-lined avenues and impressive architecture.
As the CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of welcoming a friendly group from Scout24 SE to the iPad Tour on February 9, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. We met in the lobby of the MAXX Hotel Sanssouci Potsdam on the Allee nach Sanssouci — an ideal starting point for our interactive city adventure. In total, 11 colleagues took part, split into three enthusiastic teams.
Our iPad Tour playfully combined technology and city exploration: after a brief introduction to the CityHunters app, each team set off with an iPad. Tasks were assigned, scores displayed live, and small challenges communicated through the app. The teams were left to their own devices during the tour and competed in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks — observation, speed and cooperation all mattered equally.
The weather was pleasant and perfectly suited our plans: not too cold, not rainy — ideal conditions for experiencing Potsdam actively. Along the route we passed some of the citys most famous sights, including the Brandenburger Tor, the Museum Barberini and the Nauener Tor, which provided an exciting backdrop for our challenges. The city truly became a living game board full of discoveries.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to assist with any questions or technical issues. After two hours, all teams reconvened for the awards ceremony in the lobby of the MAXX Hotel Sanssouci Potsdam. The atmosphere was lively, and stories of close decisions and clever team solutions filled the room — exactly what a good team building experience in Potsdam is all about.
For me, the evening was a prime example of how a team building experience in Potsdam with an iPad Tour can become an unforgettable occasion: lots of fun, genuine teamwork and a new perspective on the city.
