Team Building Event genua GmbH
The weather was on our side, with sunshine and crisp air carrying us through a perfect afternoon in Old Town.
On December 7, 2023 at 2:30 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 18 colleagues from genua GmbH at Marienplatz by the Fischbrunnen as a CityHunters team guide. After a short introduction and an explanation of the app and tablets the guests were split into three teams — then off they went: a team building experience in Old Town at its liveliest.
With the devices in hand the teams spread out across the city center. The route led them to well-known spots like the New Town Hall and the Frauenkirche and took them close to the Deutsches Museum — always accompanied by tricky puzzles and varied team tasks. Points were awarded for solving challenges correctly for creative solutions and for working together to overcome small obstacles. In this way sightseeing turned into a genuine team building experience in Old Town.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed against one another in a friendly rivalry. Codes were cracked hidden clues discovered and group ideas put into practice. The atmosphere was full of fun pace and plenty of laughter — the perfect mix to strengthen bonds and to discover new sides of colleagues.
I was of course reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or problems arose. After exactly three hours all teams reconvened at the starting point at Marienplatz for the awards ceremony. The three most successful teams received medals and were celebrated to great applause — a fitting finale to a successful team building event.
Geocaching in Old Town combines action puzzle fun and city exploration in a unique way. Anyone wanting to experience the city anew will find not only sights but above all a fantastic opportunity to grow closer as a group. A team building experience in Old Town can be that simple and effective — I am already looking forward to the next round!
