Team Building Event Voestalpine group-IT GmbH
The event combines modern technology with playful exploration: our iPad Tour turns a team building experience in Linz into an interactive adventure.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed five participants from Voestalpine group-IT GmbH at the main square on 21 November 2023 at 3:00 PM. After a short introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, the groups set off into Linz's city centre full of anticipation. Our approach blends history, culture and high-tech — that mix is what makes a team building experience in Linz so exciting.
The teams were on their own during the tour, competing against each other in good spirits. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks that tested observation, communication and ingenuity. Along the way the participants discovered well-known spots like the Old Cathedral, the Lentos Art Museum Linz and the Ars Electronica Center — perfect backdrops for challenges and shared aha moments.
The weather held up well and created pleasant conditions, keeping the mood cheerful and motivated. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any support was needed, which allowed me to provide a safe framework without taking away the teams' sense of discovery.
After exactly two hours everyone regrouped at the main square for the award ceremony. Feedback made it clear that the tasks not only added excitement but also strengthened collaboration. Experiences like this are what make a team building experience in Linz special — you get to know colleagues in new ways, laugh together and create lasting memories.
