Team Building Event Givaudan Deutschland GmbH
Old Town fascinates with its mix of history, lively culture and surprising corners — and our tour on November 16, 2023 once again proved that.
As the CityHunters team guide, I met our group of 10 people from Givaudan Deutschland GmbH at Max-Joseph-Platz at 3:00 PM. After a brief welcome and introduction we formed two teams. As is usual at our events, participants received all the information on using the app and planning the tour so each group could start well prepared.
With tablets in hand each team set off through the heart of Old Town. The route led to well-known and hidden spots — from the imposing Frauenkirche through the lively ensemble around the New Town Hall to engaging views toward the Deutsches Museum. Our Geocaching tasks allowed the teams to see the city in a new light and produced many aha moments.
During the tour the teams were left to their own devices and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles, completing team challenges and for clever, creative solutions. I was reachable by phone the whole time so help was available if needed without disrupting the flow of the game.
The weather was fairly mild that afternoon and helped everyone feel comfortable and fully enjoy themselves. Visible enthusiasm, shared laughter and cracking tricky tasks together made it clear that a team building experience in Old Town works wonderfully — active, playful and unifying.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at Max-Joseph-Platz for the awards ceremony. While scoring, taking photos and raising a toast you could feel how much the shared experience had bonded the group. Moments like these stay with you and strengthen collegiality and cohesion.
Anyone looking for a team building experience in Old Town will find with CityHunters an engaging mix of adventure, puzzle fun and city exploration. I am already looking forward to the next team that wants to discover the city in this special way.
