Team Building Event Allianz Global Benefits GmbH
The twelve participants from Allianz Global Benefits GmbH met on November 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., full of anticipation for our CityHunters Geocaching event at Karlsplatz in Old Town.
After a brief welcome from me as the team guide, the groups received a compact briefing and the tablets preloaded with the CityHunters app. We split everyone into two teams, explained the format and rules, and then we were off: a team building experience in Old Town, combined with adventure and playful fun.
The route led the teams through the vibrant heart of Old Town. At well-known spots such as the Frauenkirche, the New Town Hall and the Deutsches Museum, they had to decipher clues, solve puzzles and tackle creative team tasks. The challenges promoted communication, observation and collaborative thinking — exactly what a team building experience in Old Town is so valuable for.
The weather was challenging, but the wet streets and gray clouds could not dampen the mood. On the contrary, tackling the tasks together in the rain created extra closeness and many cheerful moments. A little shower, a great team effort — genuine team building experience in Old Town.
Throughout the tour the teams operated independently and enjoyed a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correct puzzle solutions and successful team tasks. I was reachable by phone at all times to help with questions or minor issues.
After three hours everyone met again at Karlsplatz for the awards ceremony. During the closing we looked back on the best moments, celebrated the results and recognized how much the shared challenge had strengthened the group. Laughter, conversation and a few keepsake photos rounded off the day.
As the team guide it was a great pleasure to see how the participants came together and rediscovered Old Town in such a playful way.
