Team Building Event IWW Institut für Wissen in der Wirtschaft GmbH
The event concept blends modern technology with playful city exploration and gives a lasting boost to team spirit — exactly what we experienced on our iPad Tour in Lüdinghausen.
On 23.10.2023 at 14:00 I met seven motivated colleagues from IWW Institut für Wissen in der Wirtschaft GmbH at the market square in Lüdinghausen. After a short, friendly briefing on how to use the iPads and the CityHunters App, we got started: each team received a device as their central hub, and then the high-tech Scavenger Hunt through the town centre began.
Along the route participants discovered familiar spots and let the history and charm of the town inspire them. Whether Vischering Castle, Lüdinghausen Castle or St. Felizitas — Lüdinghausen provided the perfect backdrop for exciting challenges. The tour combined observation, creativity and teamwork and delivered plenty of laughs and aha moments.
During the tour the groups were on their own, competing in good spirits for the highest score. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and completing joint team tasks. The CityHunters App showed the scores in real time and kept motivation high with small surprises and challenges — ideal for a genuine team building experience in Lüdinghausen.
I was reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or minor technical issues came up. Otherwise there was lively interaction within the teams: strategies were developed, ideas discussed aloud and successes celebrated together. The nice weather added to the upbeat atmosphere.
After roughly three hours everyone met back at the market for the award ceremony. The joy over completed tasks, new insights into the town and the shared result was clearly noticeable. Moments like these are exactly what a team building experience in Lüdinghausen is all about.
