Team Building Event Salzburg Global Seminar
Our event concept blends adventure, puzzle-solving and shared moments of success — exactly what the participants from Salzburg Global Seminar experienced at our Geocaching event in Salzburg on October 24, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
As the CityHunters team guide, I welcomed the group of 34 people at Furtwänglerpark. After a short introduction we explained the route, the functions of the CityHunters app on the tablets and the rules of the game. The group was split into eight teams and set off full of enthusiasm.
The goal was clear: a team building experience in Salzburg through playful discovery. Teams followed coordinates, solved puzzles and completed creative team tasks. Some challenges called for deductive skills, others encouraged communication and collaboration — exactly the ingredients that make a team building experience in Salzburg so valuable.
The morning showed its unpleasant side, but rain and wind could not dampen the mood. On the contrary: the city felt atmospheric, the wet lanes around Mirabell Palace and the silhouette of Hohensalzburg Fortress looked impressive, and at a brief mention of Mozart's birthplace the sun soon peeked out again. Moments like those bond people and create memories people talk about for a long time.
During the tour the teams were on their own and engaged in friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks. I remained reachable by phone the entire time to assist with questions or small uncertainties — providing safety and support without interrupting the adventure.
After a little over two and a half hours all teams met again at Furtwänglerpark for the award ceremony. There was laughter, results were discussed and successful strategies were acknowledged. It is precisely these shared highlights that strengthen the team building experience in Salzburg in a lasting way.
Geocaching in Salzburg means experiencing the city in a new way: exciting, cooperative and full of joy. Thanks to Salzburg Global Seminar for their trust — it was a refreshing, connecting experience in the heart of Salzburg that perfectly combined team spirit and the joy of discovery.
