Team Building Event Deutsche Bundesbank
The twelve participants from the Deutsche Bundesbank met on 23 October 2023 at 3:00 PM for our Geocaching event in Leipzig — a lively start to an afternoon full of puzzles and team spirit.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at Thomaskirchhof and gave a brief overview of the plan. After a short briefing and dividing into three teams, the groups received everything they needed for the tour: clues, tasks, and access to the CityHunters app, which guided the teams through the stations. That was the start of our active team building experience in Leipzig.
In pleasant weather the teams set off and discovered Leipzig in a whole new way. The route took them past landmarks such as the Thomaskirche, Leipzig University and the Nikolaikirche — with exciting challenges along the way that called for creativity and collaboration. For us, team building experience in Leipzig means solving puzzles together, sharing knowledge and encouraging one another.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and competed in friendly rivalry for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles as well as for successful team tasks where communication and ingenuity made the difference. I was available by phone the entire time in case any technical questions or uncertainties arose.
The mood was consistently positive: laughter, aha moments and the proud look when a puzzle was solved. Experiences like these strengthen team cohesion — a clear example of successful team building experience in Leipzig. The participants used the opportunity to get to know the city from many angles and to practice intensive teamwork in small groups.
After three hours all teams met again at Thomaskirchhof for the award ceremony. In a relaxed atmosphere the scores were announced and the winners celebrated. Moments like these — friendly competition, shared success and a few relaxed conversations afterwards — make a CityHunters event a lasting experience for any company and perfectly round off our offering for team building experience in Leipzig.
It was a pleasure to guide the colleagues from the Deutsche Bundesbank through Leipzig and to see how well teamwork works when fun and challenge come together.
