Team Building Event Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG
Celle charms with its historic old town and an atmosphere that is perfect for an exciting team building event.
On October 18, 2023 at 5:30 PM I had the pleasure of serving as team guide for a lively iPad Murder Mystery Tour for 41 participants from Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG. The meeting point was at the InterCity Hotel on Nordwall, from where the group set off into the city in seven teams. The goal: solve puzzles together, gather clues and have fun — a real team building experience in Celle.
After a brief introduction to the tablets and an explanation of the game format they were off. The teams navigated the alleys via iPad and solved exciting cases waiting at locations such as Celle Castle, the Old Town Hall and St. Marys Church. The combination of historic backdrops and a modern game concept makes our iPad Murder Mystery format a special experience for every team — an ideal team building experience in Celle.
During the roughly two hour tour the groups competed in a friendly contest for the most points: correct puzzle solutions and successfully completed team challenges earned points on the scoreboard. I was available by phone the entire time so I could quickly help with any questions or technical problems.
The weather cooperated and the mood was both lively and focused. The mix of puzzle solving, pace and the shared sense of achievement promotes exactly what matters at company events: communication, collaboration and plenty of fun. Many participants discovered parts of Celle they had not known before and began to see familiar sights with fresh eyes.
After two hours we met again at the InterCity Hotel for the award ceremony. During the trophy presentation and brief closing feedback the teams celebrated their success and reflected on the experience. Again the team building experience in Celle left a lasting impression.
It was a thoroughly successful evening that showed how exciting and connecting an interactive murder mystery event can be. I look forward to the next group that would like to discover Celle in this special way.
