Team Building Event Stadt Ingolstadt, Amt für Soziales
Thirteen employees from the Office for Social Affairs of the City of Ingolstadt met up with me, their CityHunters team guide, at Kohlenmarkt in Regensburg on October 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
After a brief welcome I explained the program, handed out the tablets with our CityHunters app and split the group into three teams. That was the start of our shared adventure: a real team building experience in Regensburg focused equally on fun, creativity and collaboration.
The teams set off on their own and explored the city independently. The challenges led them to highlights such as the Regensburg Cathedral, across the Stone Bridge and past the Old Town Hall. At each station riddles and team tasks awaited, demanding clever thinking and clear communication. Points were awarded for correct answers and successful team performances, and the friendly competition provided extra motivation.
I was reachable by phone throughout the entire tour in case of technical issues or questions about the tasks. After about two and a half hours all teams met again at Kohlenmarkt for the joint award ceremony. These shared moments are at the heart of a team building experience in Regensburg: exchanging ideas, laughs and sharing those aha moments.
Thanks to the nice weather the awards ceremony turned into a cheerful finale. The winning team was Lameducks and surprisingly took first place with zero points. Regardless of the score team cohesion was what mattered most – participants clearly had fun and came away as a more cohesive group.
Geocaching with CityHunters combines city exploration and team development in a special way. Whether at the cathedral, on the bridge or while admiring historic facades a team building experience in Regensburg can be perfectly combined with interesting insights into the city's history and lively tasks.
