Ulm impresses with its mix of historic charm and lively city life – the perfect setting for exciting team evenings and new discoveries.
On October 17, 2023 at 4:00 PM I had the pleasure of guiding a Murder Mystery Geocaching for the 16 participants from Lenser Filtration GmbH. The meeting point was the Market Square, where I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction and divided everyone into three teams. Each team received a tablet with our event app, which guided them through the game and presented the criminal cases.
Then the teams set off across the city: on a hunt for clues between Ulm Minster, the town hall and the Museum of Bread Culture the groups collected evidence, solved puzzles and completed team challenges. The teams worked independently and competed in good spirits for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed tasks – communication, creativity and team spirit were front and center. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case of questions or technical issues.
The Murder Mystery Geocaching struck the perfect balance of adventure and learning: there was plenty of laughter, discussion and hands-on trying. Activities like this are great opportunities for a team building experience in Ulm because they require real collaboration while leaving room for spontaneous moments of success. Time and again it became clear how different strengths within a team come into play and how quickly joint solutions emerge.
After three hours everyone regrouped at the Market Square for the awards ceremony. With the good weather on our side we enjoyed the final moments: congratulations, little anecdotes from the Scavenger Hunt and the delight over surprising team performances. The shared finale was a lovely highlight and rounded the experience off perfectly.
