Team Building Event Caritas Sozialstation BGL
The weather really smiled on us that afternoon: sunshine and crisp air accompanied our Geocaching adventure through Salzburg. I had the pleasure of welcoming 26 colleagues from Caritas Sozialstation BGL as CityHunters team guide; they had gathered at Furtwänglerpark. After a short introduction we split the group into four motivated teams.
At the start I briefly explained the procedure and the rules, then each team received a tablet with the CityHunters app, which reliably guided them through the tasks. That was how our team building event began: modern technology meets city experience — a perfect mix for a team building experience in Salzburg. Within minutes you could feel the mood lift and see teamwork being put to the test.
The route took the teams through Salzburgs charming old town, past landmarks like Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Palace and Mozart’s birthplace. At several stations they had to solve puzzles and complete creative team tasks — points were awarded for quick, clever and cooperative action. The team building experience in Salzburg showed itself at its best: shared successes, exuberant moments and plenty of laughter.
During the roughly two-hour tour the teams were largely on their own and enjoyed a friendly competition. I was reachable by phone to help with questions or small uncertainties, and a quick call often solved things without interrupting the game. It was especially nice to see different talents come together and joint solutions emerge — exactly what a good team building event aims for.
After two hours everyone returned to Furtwänglerpark for the awards ceremony. The top three teams received medals, and the joy over individual and shared achievements was great. Moments like these sustainably strengthen the sense of togetherness and remain memorable.
