Team Building Event BIO COMPANY SE
Mitte is a city full of stories, surprises and corners that can always be discovered anew. On October 5, 2023 I had the pleasure, as a CityHunters team guide, to accompany a special event: a Geocaching with 16 participants from BIO COMPANY SE, which started punctually at 2:00 p.m. at Friedrichstraße station, in front of the Tränenpalast.
After a brief welcome and introduction I divided the group into three teams. Everyone received the necessary clues and a short introduction to the CityHunters app so that all were clear on how the puzzles and tasks would work. The mood was excited and expectant — perfect for an active team building experience in Mitte.
Then the group set off: the teams explored the city on their own, followed coordinates, solved tricky riddles and completed creative team tasks. Along the route we passed well known places like the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and the Berlin Cathedral — ideal backdrops for exciting challenges and surprising insights. Every step earned points, and the competitive spirit supplied plenty of drive and good cheer.
The weather showed its changeable side, but the light rain did not dampen the fun. On the contrary, it gave the tour a special sense of adventure and strengthened the sense of togetherness. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case teams needed support — usually a short hint was enough to release new energy.
After exactly three hours all teams returned to the starting point, where the awards ceremony took place. To applause and many smiling faces the top scoring teams were celebrated. Such moments are what make a team building experience in Mitte so valuable: shared experiences, joy in success and a conscious awareness of team dynamics.
