Team Building Event Siemens AG
The day began with perfect weather and bright sunshine over Regensburg, a wonderful start to our shared adventure.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed ten motivated colleagues from Siemens AG at Kohlenmarkt on 29.09.2023 at 09:00. After a warm greeting there was a short introduction to using the iPads and our CityHunters app — the technical foundation for an exciting mix of city discovery, puzzles and team tasks. This is how our team building event began, creating a genuine team building experience in Regensburg.
Participants were divided into two teams and each team received an iPad. Then off they went: the center of Regensburg provided historic backdrops such as the Regensburg Cathedral, the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall as fitting settings for the challenges. Our tour combines modern technology with playful exploration — exactly what makes a team building experience in Regensburg so special.
Over the three hours the teams were on their own, competing in a friendly rivalry. Points could be earned by correctly solving puzzles and mastering joint team tasks. The CityHunters app showed scores in real time and gave the groups extra motivation. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to help with questions or technical problems.
The atmosphere was both lively and focused: strategy, creativity and team spirit were required. The teams used a variety of approaches, laughed, debated and got to know each other in new ways — precisely what we expect from a good team building experience in Regensburg. The blend of culture, history and high-tech made the tour an entertaining experience.
After exactly three hours everyone met again at Kohlenmarkt for the awards ceremony. When the points were evaluated it became clear how much the activity had strengthened cohesion. Many took advantage of the pleasant weather to continue enjoying the day in Regensburg — whether with a view of the Stone Bridge or a relaxed finish at one of the nearby eateries.
It was a fulfilling morning: an interactive experience that is fun, connects people and remains memorable — that is how a real team building experience in Regensburg works. I look forward to the next adventure with new groups.
