Team Building Event Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis
The weather was perfect and provided an ideal backdrop for our Geocaching event on 26 September 2023 in Schwäbisch Hall.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed 19 enthusiastic colleagues from Endress+Hauser Liquid Analysis at Hotel Hohenlohe. After a short introduction the groups received tablets with the CityHunters app, were briefed on the format and rules — then four teams set off promptly at 4:00 PM on their discovery tour through the old town.
Team building experience in Schwäbisch Hall is something we actively practice: the teams were on their own during the tour and competed against each other in a friendly spirit. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks. The coordinates led to well-known and hidden spots, turning the city exploration into a lively experience.
Schwäbisch Hall offers a wealth of sights — from the imposing St. Michael’s Church to the Kunsthalle Würth and the Hällisch-Fränkisches Museum. In these places interesting conversations, surprising aha moments and many shared experiences developed, all of which gave the team building experience in Schwäbisch Hall lasting strength.
Throughout the three hours I was reachable by phone for all teams in case questions or small hurdles came up. Usually a short hint was enough, and often a bit of help allowed the teams to continue on their own. The combination of challenge, navigation and teamwork brought a lot of momentum and good spirits to the group.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at Hotel Hohenlohe for the awards ceremony. Tension was high — and the cheers even louder when the winning team Die Liquiliners was announced with 0 points. Moments like that always end a shared adventure on a particularly positive note.
This Geocaching event once again showed how effective and entertaining a team building experience in Schwäbisch Hall can be: discovering, solving puzzles and collaborating in a historic setting — an experience that lingers long afterwards.
