Team Building Event Ellab A/S
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading an exciting iPad Murder Mystery Tour on September 25, 2023 at 3:00 PM for 11 participants from Ellab A/S in Milan. The meeting point was the elegant Piazza della Scala, where I welcomed the group and gave a brief explanation of the schedule. A perfect afternoon for a team building experience in Milan began.
After a short introduction to the iPads and a quick look at the digital map, we split the group into two teams. Each team received a tablet with the CityHunters app, which displays a map and shows your position. The teams then set off independently on their investigator tour and raced to collect the most points.
Along the route we encountered some of Milan's most beautiful sights: the stunning Milan Cathedral, the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Teatro alla Scala provided picturesque backdrops for our game scenes. At each station tricky puzzles, creative team tasks and careful observation of the surroundings put team spirit to the test. This is how a team building experience in Milan becomes a lively adventure.
The teams worked with commitment, shared plenty of laughs and organized themselves independently — true teamwork in action. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and well-executed team tasks; thanks to the iPads' real-time connection the groups could keep track of their progress. As guide I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour, so I could quickly offer support when needed.
After around 2.5 hours everyone met back at the starting point, Piazza della Scala, for the closing award ceremony. The winning team received medals, a celebratory moment that highlighted the positive energy and team spirit. The weather was on our side and added to the upbeat atmosphere.
