Team Building Event CAMELOT Management Consultants AG
Our event concept combines modern technology with playful city exploration: the iPad Tour as the ideal format for a team building experience in Cologne. On 25 September 2023 at 3:00 PM I had the pleasure as CityHunters team guide to welcome the group from CAMELOT AC Management Consultants AG in Cologne.
We met at Domhof, where I gave a brief introduction and explained the iPads. The 24 colleagues were split into four teams and then off they went: each team received an iPad as the central hub for navigation, tasks and score display.
The route led the groups along varied paths through the city center. Along the way small puzzle stations, creative team tasks and inviting spots for discovery kept things exciting. We encountered impressive landmarks like Cologne Cathedral, the Hohenzollern Bridge and Museum Ludwig — perfect backdrops for the challenges.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, competing in good spirits for the highest score. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing team tasks. I remained available by phone throughout to support with questions so the fun never stalled.
The shared experience boosted communication, creativity and solution focus — exactly what a genuine team building experience in Cologne should do. The mix of history, culture and modern technology produced plenty of aha moments and lots of laughter among the participants.
After about two and a half hours everyone regrouped at Domhof for the award ceremony. The atmosphere was upbeat and proud as the winning team received medals. Moments like these show how lasting the impact of a well-designed team building event can be.
The weather was perfect and rounded off the afternoon nicely. For me as team guide it was a great pleasure to witness the group’s commitment and team spirit. The team building experience in Cologne can be made particularly vivid and memorable this way — an event that will be remembered for a long time.
