Team Building Event Raiffeisenbank Wittelsbacher Land eG
The sun was shining that afternoon, creating perfect conditions when I welcomed the group from Raiffeisenbank Wittelsbacher Land eG in Augsburg on 23 September 2023.
At Elias-Holl-Platz, 30 motivated participants met me as their team guide — split into seven teams and ready for our Murder Mystery Geocaching. After a short introduction we explained the format: tablets with a special app led the teams to various locations across the city to be explored as fellow detective participants. In this way, technology and adventure combined into an exciting team building event in Augsburg.
The teams were on their own during the tour and competed in a friendly race for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing team tasks — from searching for clues and interviewing witnesses to creative group challenges. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or problems came up.
Our route took participants to well-known sites that took on new roles: stations around the Fuggerei, Augsburg Town Hall and the Cathedral of Our Dear Lady provided the perfect backdrop for our investigations. City exploration turned into a game and the participants discovered Augsburg from a whole new perspective.
The Murder Mystery Geocaching combined fun with responsibility and noticeably strengthened the sense of togetherness — a genuine team building experience in Augsburg. Time and again you could hear team calls, careful coordination and loud laughter when especially tricky tasks were solved. The mix of competition and cooperation made this team building experience in Augsburg an intense and memorable event for everyone involved.
After about 2.5 hours all groups met again at Elias-Holl-Platz for the joint awards ceremony. In bright weather the best detective teams were celebrated, experiences were shared and successes were toasted together. Moments like these show how much an event can connect and motivate people — that is exactly the essence of a team building experience in Augsburg.
