Team Building Event Ed. Züblin AG
The 30 participants from Ed. Züblin AG met in high spirits on September 21, 2023 for our Geocaching event in Karlsruhe.
As a team guide for CityHunters I welcomed the group punctually at 3:30 pm at Schlossplatz. After a short introduction and the split into six teams, everyone received the essential instructions for the tour, given both digitally and verbally so each group could set off well prepared.
Then the real adventure began: a team building experience in Karlsruhe at its best. The teams explored the city centre, discovered corners around Karlsruhe Palace, solved creative puzzles at the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and, when needed, headed toward the Zoologischer Stadtgarten Karlsruhe — always on the hunt for points and shared moments of success.
During the two hours the groups were on their own, competing in a friendly contest. Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and by completing creative team tasks. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to help with questions or minor technical hiccups, but usually the good mood and team spirit were enough to keep things moving.
The team building experience in Karlsruhe showed its best side that afternoon: it was not just the good weather, but above all the teams working together. The tasks demanded communication, resourcefulness and a bit of courage to try new things — exactly the ingredients that bring teams closer at a successful company event.
After two hours everyone met back at Schlossplatz for the award ceremony. The suspense was high as the results were announced. In the end the winning team maurizius got to celebrate — with 0 points, but all the more fun and great memories.
Whether for a company outing or an anniversary, a team building experience in Karlsruhe is a great way to experience the city in a new way while strengthening team cohesion. I am already looking forward to the next time we get out and rediscover the city together.
