Team Building Event Kastl GmbH & Co. KG
Our Murder Mystery Geocaching combines city exploration, puzzle fun and teamwork into an engaging event concept that promotes curiosity and collaboration.
As a team guide for CityHunters, I accompanied a special team building event for Kastl GmbH & Co. KG in Ingolstadt on September 21, 2023 at 1:45 PM. 36 participants met at the agreed starting point at the Tourist Information at the Old Town Hall, were warmly welcomed and given a brief introduction to the game flow and the technology.
The group was divided into six teams and given the essential tools for the tour: tablets and our app guided the teams to various crime scenes across the city center. The cityscape became the stage for an exciting interactive Murder Mystery Geocaching experience — a perfect example of a team building experience in Ingolstadt, where communication and collective problem-solving took center stage.
During the roughly two-hour tour the teams worked independently, gathered clues, solved tricky puzzles and completed team challenges. Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks and clever approaches, creating a friendly competition. I was reachable by phone throughout to assist with questions or technical issues.
The route led the teams past well-known sites that were built into the game — for example the Minster of Our Lady, the New Castle and the area near the German Museum of Medical History. These sights gained a playful new context and invited participants to discover Ingolstadt from a different perspective.
The weather cooperated and contributed to a great atmosphere: sunny, pleasant and ideal for active outdoor tasks. After exactly two hours all teams returned to the Tourist Information at the Old Town Hall for the joint awards ceremony. The joy over successful team performances and the noticeable strengthening of cohesion made the conclusion particularly enjoyable.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching was once again a great example of how effective a team building experience in Ingolstadt can be: exciting, cooperative and full of discoveries. I am already looking forward to the next adventure with motivated groups in Ingolstadt.
