Team Building Event JASIKA Projektentwicklung GmbH
Lübeck impresses with its historic charm and invites visitors to experience the citys history and team spirit alike.
On 20.09.2023 at 16:30 I had the pleasure as a team guide to accompany a special Murder Mystery Geocaching event for JASIKA Projektentwicklung GmbH. Ten motivated participants met at the Schrangen, were welcomed and split into two teams. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation from the very start — perfect conditions for an intense team building experience in Lübeck.
After a brief introduction the teams received tablets with a dedicated app that guided them through the city. From there the tour began, which the groups tackled independently: gathering clues, solving puzzles and completing team tasks — each correct answer earned points. The combination of digital technology and analogue clue hunting brought the investigations to life and showed once again how exciting a team building experience in Lübeck can be.
The route took the teams past well-known sights such as the Holstentor, St. Marys Church and the St. Annes Museum Quarter. These landmarks became the backdrops for our fictional cases and offered numerous opportunities to strengthen collaboration and uncover hidden talents within the teams. Throughout the field phase I was available by phone for questions or technical issues — but the groups remained focused and worked together with great commitment.
After roughly two and a half hours all participants met again at the Schrangen for the awards ceremony. The high spirits, the laughter over solved puzzles and the shared celebration of the best investigators made the finale especially enjoyable. The weather was on our side and added to the positive atmosphere.
For me as a team guide this afternoon remains a fond memory: a dynamic, fun-filled experience that brought colleagues closer together and delivered genuine team building experience in Lübeck. Events like this show how much joy and added value shared challenges can create in such a historic city.
