Team Building Event FlatexDegiro Bank AG
Palma de Mallorca welcomes visitors with Mediterranean flair, impressive architecture and lively squares – the perfect place for an active team building event.
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of leading an iPad Tour for 30 employees of FlatexDegiro Bank AG on 17 September 2023 at 10:00 AM. The meeting point was in front of the hotel Costa Azul, where I warmly greeted the group and gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters app. The participants were split into five teams and off we went: pure team building experience in Palma de Mallorca.
The route took the teams through the charming lanes of the old town and past well-known sights such as the Cathedral of Palma, the Palacio Real de la Almudaina and Parque del Mar. At various stations there were puzzles and team challenges that required dexterity, creativity and good communication. Every correctly solved puzzle and each successfully completed task earned points – the friendly competition was clearly motivating and produced plenty of laughter and team spirit.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own but could call me at any time if questions or technical issues arose. The CityHunters app connected the groups and showed scores in real time, which added extra excitement. In this way the iPad Tour playfully combined modern technology with a classic team building experience in Palma de Mallorca.
After around three hours all teams met again in front of the hotel Costa Azul for the final award ceremony. Places one to three were honored with medals – happy faces, team photos and a few well-deserved victory cheers included. The good weather contributed to the success of the day and made the outdoor experience even more enjoyable.
For me as a team guide it was great fun to see how much the colleagues had bonded and how much energy this team building event released. Team building experience in Palma de Mallorca can be wonderfully combined with culture, fun and camaraderie.
