Team Building Event AWA Ammerssee
The weather was perfect and accompanied our iPad Tour in Bolzano on September 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with bright sunshine and a very cheerful group. As team guide I met the 15 participants from the company AWA Ammerssee at Waltherplatz; we greeted each other briefly and split the group into three teams – the perfect start to an energetic team building experience in Bolzano.
The introduction made clear what the day was about: experience Bolzano in a new way, combining history and culture with modern technology. After a short briefing on the iPads and the CityHunters app, the teams set off on their discovery tour. The app guided them to exciting stations where interactive tasks and puzzles awaited – an ideal mix of city exploration and playful team training. That is exactly what makes our concept for a team building experience in Bolzano so special.
During the tour the teams were on their own and engaged in a friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and creative team tasks; as guide I was reachable by phone if support had been needed. The teams wound their way through the charming streets of Bolzano, discovering places like the Victory Monument, the Museion and the Dominican Church, and collecting experiences that went far beyond mere numbers.
After about two and a half hours everyone met again at Waltherplatz for the joint award ceremony. The atmosphere was exuberant, laughter and snippets of conversation filled the square – moments like these are what make a team building experience in Bolzano unforgettable. The winning team that day was ClearWater with 0 points, and we celebrated the shared success in a relaxed setting.
For me as team guide it was a moving morning: joy, cooperation and playful ambition shaped every stop.
