Team Building Event Atlas Copco IAS GmbH
Heidelberg enchants with its historic charm and lively atmosphere, the perfect setting for an active team building experience.
On 12.09.2023 at 09:00 I had the pleasure of welcoming 33 employees from Atlas Copco IAS GmbH at Bismarckplatz as a CityHunters team guide. After a brief introduction to the schedule and the technology, we split the group into five teams and gave each team a tablet with the CityHunters app. The anticipation was palpable: a team building experience in Heidelberg gets people moving and lets them see the city with fresh eyes.
Then off they went, with the teams starting independently on an exciting Geocaching tour. Along the route they encountered varied puzzles and creative team tasks that called for team spirit, problem solving and keen observation. From Heidelberg Castle through the Old Bridge to Ruprecht-Karls University, the challenges led participants to well-known and hidden spots. Teams earned points for cracking codes, finding clues or completing joint tasks on site.
During the roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour I remained reachable by phone and assisted with technical questions or small queries, so the teams felt well supported without losing their momentum. The weather was perfect, which made the city exploration especially enjoyable. Time and again it was clear how the shared challenge helped teams grow closer: genuine team building experience in Heidelberg that connects people.
At the appointed time everyone met back at Bismarckplatz for the debrief and award ceremony. Laughter, applauding winners and satisfied faces rounded off the event, moments that linger in the memory. A team building experience in Heidelberg is exactly that: a blend of competition, discovery and shared joy.
It was a thoroughly successful event for Atlas Copco IAS GmbH and, for me as a guide, a lovely example of how Geocaching in Heidelberg brings teams together and sparks curiosity. I am already looking forward to the next adventure in this enchanting city.
