Team Building Event Universität Ulm
On September 6, 2023 at 9:00 AM I had the pleasure of guiding an energetic iPad Tour for 14 participants from Ulm University at the Market Square. After a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the CityHunters App and the iPads, the participants were split into three teams and off they went: a playful team building experience in Ulm.
The city was at its best: perfect weather, great spirits and a mix of history and modern technology. Our route took the groups past well-known sights such as Ulm Minster, the Town Hall and the Ulm Museum. At various stations, interactive puzzles and creative team tasks demanded observation, speed and inventiveness, repeatedly provoking loud laughter and enthusiastic cheers. That is exactly what makes a team building experience in Ulm so special: solving puzzles together, discussing as a team and finding solutions side by side.
During the tour the teams moved independently and competed in good spirits for the most points. Points were earned by correctly solved tasks and successful team challenges. I was available by phone as a team guide in case questions or minor technical issues came up — usually a quick hint was enough for the groups to continue confidently.
After about two and a half hours we met again at the Market Square for the award ceremony. Excitement rose as the scores were announced, and the winners were celebrated with applause. Beyond the competition, shared fun was the main focus: gaining new perspectives on the city, getting to know colleagues better and strengthening team spirit. That is how genuine team building experience in Ulm comes together.
For me as a team guide it was a thoroughly successful morning: motivated participants, exciting tasks and Ulm’s beautiful backdrop made the iPad Tour a memorable occasion. Anyone who wants to rediscover Ulm while boosting camaraderie will find that our iPad Tour is a modern and engaging team building event that lingers long after.
