Team Building Event BuF Metallhandels GmbH
Our event concept combines city exploration, puzzle fun and modern technology into an interactive team experience.
As a CityHunters team guide, I accompanied an iPad Tour for BuF Metallhandels GmbH in Lüneburg on August 28, 2023 at 2:30 PM. The meeting point was Hotel Wyndberg on Egersdorffstraße, where I warmly welcomed the ten participants and gave a short introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters App. After the briefing we split into two teams, and then we were off: a genuine team building experience in Lüneburg, right in the heart of the old town.
Along the route the groups encountered many of Lüneburgs historic and picturesque spots. Stops like the Town Hall, the Lüneburg Water Tower and St. Nicolai provided a great backdrop for our challenges. The teams were on their own during the tour and competed against each other in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks — both clever thinking and good communication were needed.
The CityHunters App connected the groups in real time, displayed the scores and enabled motivating interaction. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour, so any technical questions or uncertainties could be resolved quickly. The weather cooperated, which made the city exploration especially enjoyable and helped the team building experience in Lüneburg benefit from a positive atmosphere.
After about two and a half hours everyone met back at Hotel Wyndberg for the awards ceremony. The mood was lively and full of appreciation for the creative solutions and the team spirit each group showed. Those moments are what make our iPad Tours so appealing to me: you experience Lüneburg anew while strengthening the bonds between colleagues.
