Team Building Event Schapke & Rickmann StB-Gesellschaft mbB
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure on 25 August 2023 of leading an exciting Geocaching event for Schapke & Rickmann StB-Gesellschaft mbB in Lübeck. Right on time at 12:30 everyone gathered in front of the Marzipan Museum on Breite Straße. With bright weather we set off on our discovery tour through the old town.
The group of 24 colleagues was split into four teams. After a brief introduction we got started: tablets on, app launched, and off to compete for the most points. A team building experience in Lübeck was the focus from the very beginning — combined with plenty of fun, curiosity and a hint of competition.
Along the route through Lübeck the teams encountered both well-known and hidden corners of the city. Between the Holstentor, St. Mary's Church and the St. Anne's Museum Quarter they needed sharp observation, creative thinking and close team coordination. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing a variety of team tasks.
The teams mostly worked independently and enjoyed the freedom to develop their own strategies. As guide I was reachable by phone during the tour and provided support for any questions or minor stumbling blocks. That kept the day relaxed, yet exciting and dynamic.
After two hours and 45 minutes everyone met again for the joint awards ceremony at the starting point in front of the Marzipan Museum. The mood was fantastic: smiling faces, lively conversations and pride in the teams' accomplishments. Finding out which team had scored the most points was the crowning finale to an intense afternoon.
Geocaching with CityHunters combines city exploration and teamwork in a special way. A team building experience in Lübeck here means more than just solving puzzles; it is genuine collaboration, mutual encouragement and the shared discovery of the historic city. Lübeck showed itself at its best — ideal for active company events.
It was a thoroughly successful day with the Schapke & Rickmann team. Anyone who would like to experience a team building experience in Lübeck can only be recommended this format: adventure, culture and team spirit in an unforgettable mix.
