Team Building Event Come in Touristic
Old Town is a city full of stories, maritime atmosphere and surprising corners, perfect for exciting team adventures. On 03.08.2023 at 10:00 I had the pleasure of guiding a special Murder Mystery Geocaching for the company Come in Touristic.
Our 28 participants met at the back of the main church Sankt Petri, were warmly welcomed and split into 6 teams. After a short introduction the groups received tablets with our custom app that guided them through the different cases and stations. Thus began an exciting Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt in the heart of Old Town.
The teams set off independently and explored the city from a new perspective. Along the route we passed familiar landmarks like the Elbphilharmonie, the Speicherstadt and the Chilehaus, which served as backdrops for the investigations. Points were awarded for solving puzzles correctly and for joint team tasks – those who combined clues and worked smartly together collected plenty of points.
During the three hours of play the groups competed for the highest score. I remained available by phone as the team guide and helped with questions or technical issues related to the app. The mix of modern technology, tricky cases and urban sleuthing made the experience dynamic and memorable.
The weather turned a bit wild, but the light rain and fresh breeze did not dampen the mood – on the contrary: laughing together under umbrellas and concentrated problem-solving strengthened the team spirit. Moments like these are exactly what a team building experience in Old Town is about: overcoming challenges together and getting to know each other anew.
After about three hours all teams regrouped at the back of the main church Sankt Petri for the award ceremony. During the debrief successes were celebrated and small anecdotes exchanged – a fitting finale to an intense experience. Anyone looking for a team building experience in Old Town will find not only city history but genuine team spirit here. I look forward to the next group of sleuths in this vibrant city.
