Team Building Event MTS Systemtechnik GmbH
Augsburg captivates with its history and lively cityscape — the perfect backdrop for an active team building event.
On July 27, 2023 at 12:45 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming the group from MTS Systemtechnik GmbH. We met on Viktoriastraße and, after a brief introduction and dividing into five teams, set off on our Geocaching tour. The mood was one of eager anticipation for what the city had in store.
Armed with our tablets and the CityHunters app, the teams went off on their own. This Geocaching in Augsburg was all about solving intriguing puzzles, tackling creative team challenges and uncovering hidden clues. Stops such as the Fuggerei, Augsburg Town Hall and Augsburg Cathedral provided both historic scenery and plenty of aha moments.
The participants worked together with focus and a lot of fun — sometimes debating loudly, sometimes quietly puzzling things out. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed tasks, and a friendly competition quickly developed that gave the team building experience in Augsburg a special boost. As the team guide I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and ready to help with questions or tight situations.
The weather was on our side: pleasantly warm with a few friendly clouds — ideal for exploring the city without breaking a sweat. Those conditions helped the teams stay relaxed and motivated so they could fully enjoy the shared experience.
After two hours and fifteen minutes everyone returned to our starting point, ready for the awards ceremony. During the closing gathering the most exciting solutions were shared, there was plenty of laughter and people exchanged their highlights. Moments like these are exactly what make the team building experience in Augsburg so valuable: shared memories, shared successes and a strengthened sense of togetherness.
For me as a guide it was wonderful once again to see how Geocaching in Augsburg brings people together, creates fun and lasting boosts to team spirit. I am already looking forward to the next adventure in this beautiful city.
