Team Building Event REPA Group
Our Geocaching event combined urban discovery, puzzle fun, and team competition into an unforgettable experience — precisely the kind of concept that brings a team building experience in Old Town to life.
As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of welcoming the 20 participants from the REPA Group at the Bavarian State Library on July 26, 2023 at 4:00 PM. After a brief introduction to the schedule and the app, the teams received their tablets and we were off: four teams, one goal — score as many points as possible through smart solutions and creative team challenges.
The route took us across Old Town and offered the perfect mix of well-known sights and hidden corners. Whether it was a glance at the Frauenkirche, a detour near the Deutsches Museum, or marveling at the New Town Hall, every stop brought new puzzles and exciting tasks. The teams worked independently and quickly found their rhythm: some were deep in concentration, others relied on team spirit and speed.
The weather showed a lively side — a few showers added to the atmosphere and encouraged camaraderie: umbrellas were shared and clever team solutions were cheered even louder. Those little surprises strengthen bonds and are exactly what makes an effective team building experience in Old Town so special.
During the tour I was reachable by phone to help with technical questions or uncertainties. After three rewarding hours all groups returned to the Bavarian State Library for the award ceremony to share the best moments: laughs, aha moments, and the occasional imaginative approach to a challenge.
For me this afternoon once again demonstrated how much Geocaching connects people: it promotes communication, sparks creativity, and brings colleagues together on equal footing. A team building experience in Old Town takes on a fresh, lively dimension — exciting, motivating, and full of joy.
I am already looking forward to the next team building event and to guiding more teams as they rediscover Old Town and celebrate successes together.
