Team Building Event Wachenröther BÄCK
Bamberg impresses with its historic old town, winding lanes and a distinctive charm that invites exploration. On 23 July 2023 at 10:00 AM I had the pleasure of accompanying a special company event as a CityHunters team guide: 44 employees of Wachenröther BÄCK gathered at the Tourist Information at Schloss Geyerswörth, ready for an exciting adventure.
After a warm welcome I briefly explained the schedule and the rules. The group was divided into seven teams and given the necessary devices and clues to start the tour. With a short briefing everyone was prepared and full of anticipation — exactly the right foundation for a genuine team building experience in Bamberg.
Then the teams set off: independently, curious and in friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks waiting at various spots around the city. Famous sights such as Bamberg Cathedral, the Old Town Hall and the Michelsberg Benedictine Abbey came into view — along with playful, lesser-known corners that are easily overlooked. Experiences like these make a team building experience in Bamberg particularly intense and long-lasting.
During the tour I was reachable by phone for any questions, so small uncertainties could be resolved quickly. The weather cooperated perfectly, which lifted spirits and motivation. The mix of puzzles, activity and shared successes noticeably boosted team spirit and produced many smiling faces.
After two hours everyone met again at the Tourist Information at Schloss Geyerswörth for the award ceremony. The top three teams received medals — a fitting finale to a thoroughly successful event. For me personally this Geocaching remains a positive example of successful team building in Bamberg: exciting, connecting and full of wonderful moments.
