Team Building Event Novo Nordisk Pharma GmbH
The 22 participants from Novo Nordisk Pharma GmbH arrived at Gutenbergplatz in Mainz full of anticipation, ready for a shared exploration of the city.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction and divided everyone into teams: four motivated groups set off, each equipped with a tablet and the CityHunters app. After a short run-through of the format and the technology, each team headed off. Thus began our lively team building experience in Mainz.
The route led the teams through Mainz's charming city centre, past well-known sights such as the Mainz Cathedral, the Electoral Palace and the Drususstein. At each station the groups faced tricky puzzles and creative team tasks that awarded points. The teams were on their own during the tour and engaged in a friendly competition for the highest score.
The team building experience in Mainz showed itself at its best: cooperation, quick decision-making and joint problem-solving strengthened the group spirit. If technical questions or small uncertainties arose, I was reachable by phone and could discreetly assist, so the flow of the game remained uninterrupted.
The weather cooperated, the mood was cheerful and the challenges produced many laughs as well as genuine aha moments. It was especially rewarding to see how diverse talents came into play: observational skills at historic spots, deductive thinking at tricky stations and creativity in collaborative tasks. After two hours all teams gathered again at Gutenbergplatz for the awards ceremony. With a brief recap of the highlights and the announcement of the winners, the tour ended to much applause and many satisfied faces. The combination of city discovery, play and team spirit made the event a memorable experience.
