Team Building Event ROI-EFESO Management Consulting AG
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure on July 21, 2023 at 9:30 AM of welcoming 15 colleagues from ROI-EFESO Management Consulting AG to an exciting Geocaching event in Augsburg. The meeting point was the lively Elias-Holl-Platz, where I greeted the group and gave a brief introduction to the schedule.
After a short explanation we formed four teams and I handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app preinstalled. I described how the tour would work and what tasks awaited them — classic puzzles, creative team challenges and search tasks that had to be solved together. Thus began our team building experience in Augsburg, full of energy and anticipation.
The teams started one after another and were on their own during the tour: competing for the most points, they made their way across the city center. Along the route the groups discovered well-known sights like the Fuggerei, Augsburg Town Hall and the Cathedral of Our Lady, as well as hidden corners of the historic waterworks and charming squares around the Augsburger Puppenkiste. Each location brought new puzzles that required clever thinking, communication and collaboration — exactly what makes a good team building experience in Augsburg.
For the three hours I was reachable by phone and offered hints or clarifications when needed. The dynamics among team members were great: tasks were distributed smartly, ideas were exchanged and successes celebrated together. You immediately notice how much such activities strengthen team spirit and reveal new sides of colleagues.
After exactly three hours all teams gathered again at Elias-Holl-Platz for the awards ceremony. In bright sunshine we enjoyed the finale, counted the points and handed out the small prizes — a perfect moment to reflect on the experience and share impressions.
This Geocaching event was a lively example of how exciting and lasting a team building experience in Augsburg can be: playful, energizing and great fun. I look forward to the next adventure with new groups in this historic and diverse city.
