Team Building Event Helvetia
Bright sunshine accompanied our Geocaching event and set a cheerful tone from the start.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed 43 motivated employees from Helvetia at Friedrichsplatz on July 14, 2023 at 3:00 PM. After a brief introduction the seven teams received their tasks and the devices that would guide the tour.
Our route took us through Karlsruhe's lively city center and provided perfect conditions for a team building experience in Karlsruhe: between historic squares and modern corners the teams solved puzzles, completed creative challenges and collected points. Many groups were especially thrilled by stations near Schloss Karlsruhe and the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe — real highlights and inspiring backdrops for team tasks.
During the two-hour tour the teams were mostly left to their own devices and competed in friendly rivalry. I stayed reachable by phone in case of questions or technical issues and enjoyed the many solution-focused calls that helped teams get going.
The assignments called for creativity, clear communication and keen observation — ideal ingredients for a lasting team building experience in Karlsruhe. Some groups also used the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere and take short breaks in the greenery, for example near the Zoologischen Stadtgarten Karlsruhe.
After exactly two hours everyone reconvened at Friedrichsplatz for the awards ceremony. The suspense was high: the teams finishing first through third were honored with medals — a lovely, celebratory finale for all participants.
It was a thoroughly successful afternoon: perfect weather, great spirits and many fresh impressions of Karlsruhe. Events like this show how we at CityHunters create connection through play and strengthen team spirit — a team building experience in Karlsruhe that’s fun and leaves a lasting impact.
