Team Building Event Helvetia
Our event concept blends adventure, play and team spirit into an interactive Geocaching tour through the city. As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming 39 employees from Helvetia at Friedrichsplatz on July 14, 2023 at 10:00 AM and leading them into an experience dedicated to a team building experience in Karlsruhe. After a brief introduction the participants were split into six teams and given everything they needed – tech, rules and good cheer included.
With the CityHunters app on the tablets the teams set off and discovered Karlsruhe from new angles. The route passed landmarks such as Karlsruhe Palace, the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe and the Zoological City Garden. Small puzzles and creative team tasks awaited at every stop, allowing teams to collect points. The challenges encouraged communication, creativity and fast collective decision making – exactly what a team building experience in Karlsruhe brings to life.
During the tour the teams worked independently and competed in a friendly race for the highest score. I stayed reachable by phone as the team guide in case questions arose or help was needed. The weather cooperated, and the atmosphere was both lively and focused: laughter over clever solutions, pats on the back for bright ideas and the shared discovery of the city made the day special.
After two hours all groups reconvened at Friedrichsplatz for the awards ceremony. In a short review the most creative solutions and best team performances were celebrated. Moments like these show how effective and inspiring a team building experience in Karlsruhe can be: connections that unite, memories that last, and a city that invites curiosity. For us as the CityHunters team it is always a joy to watch individuals come together into a strong team through play, challenge and shared enjoyment.
