Team Building Event Knorr-Bremse

The concept of our Geocaching event combines a sense of discovery, puzzle fun and a genuine team building experience in Old Town – a perfect mix of adventure and collaboration.

As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming a group of 14 colleagues from the company Knorr-Bremse at Odeonsplatz on 12 July 2023 at 6:15 pm. After a brief introduction and explanation of the schedule, participants were divided into three teams and equipped with the app and the necessary clues. Excitement was tangible, and the slightly changeable but pleasant evening weather gave the group a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

We set off across Old Town: our route led the teams to various sights where they had to solve puzzles and complete creative team tasks. The combination of navigation, clever problem solving and team communication showed why a team building experience in Old Town works so well – the city offers a historical backdrop and urban riddles at the same time. Between stops like the Frauenkirche, the Residenz and the Deutsches Museum, teams not only gathered clues but also celebrated shared moments of success.

During the tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in a friendly contest: points were awarded for correctly solved tasks, clever strategies and team spirit. I was reachable by phone for questions or minor uncertainties and was pleased to see how constructively and enthusiastically everyone worked together.

After two hours everyone reconvened at Odeonsplatz for the award ceremony. The anticipation while tallying the results was high, and the joy over the successful team performances even greater. It is moments like these that make a team building experience in Old Town especially valuable: laughing together, celebrating solutions and rediscovering the neighborhood.

Geocaching in Old Town is a wonderful format for companies to bring colleagues closer together while experiencing the city anew. As a guide it was very rewarding to see the group's commitment and to witness how a team building experience in Old Town creates lasting bonds.
