Team Building Event Ed. Züblin AG
Our event concept combines cutting-edge technology, playful challenges and city discovery — an iPad Tour that blends team building experience with urban exploration.
On July 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM I had the pleasure of welcoming 62 colleagues from Ed. Züblin AG to the Market Square in Ulm as a CityHunters team guide. After a warm welcome and a short briefing on how to use the iPads and our CityHunters app, we split the group into ten teams and the adventure began.
On the tour it quickly became clear how well culture, history and technology can come together: the teams navigated the city center on their own, solved interactive puzzles and completed creative team tasks at stations near the Ulm Minster, the historic town hall and the Museum of Bread Culture. The iPads served as the hub, delivering tasks, recording points and providing a motivating live overview of the standings.
During the three hours the groups were left to their own devices and engaged in friendly competition for the highest score — a real driver for communication, strategy and cohesion. As team guide I was reachable by phone for questions or minor technical hiccups and accompanied the proceedings with pleasure, without taking away the teams’ opportunity to find their own solutions.
The weather was perfect for this active afternoon and the mood was consistently positive: laughter, spontaneous conversations and many aha moments while puzzling together. This exact atmosphere is what makes our team building experience in Ulm so valuable — it brings people together, strengthens collegiality and creates lasting memories.
After completing the tasks all teams reconvened at the Market Square for the joint awards ceremony. The winning team was celebrated, experiences were reviewed and the success of the day was deepened through shared conversation. Such experiences show that team building experience in Ulm is not only great fun but also delivers real added value to team spirit.
I am delighted that we were able to organize this day for Ed. Züblin AG and I am already looking forward to the next groups.
