Team Building Event Aurora Bauträger GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a lively Geocaching event for Aurora Bauträger GmbH on 30 June 2023 at 1:00 PM. The meeting point was the Historic Sausage Kitchen on Thundorferstraße – a central starting spot from which we set off on an entertaining adventure through the beautiful city of Regensburg. A team building experience in Regensburg can be so much fun!
After a brief welcome and an explanation of the format, we split the 12 participants into two teams. I went over the rules again, handed out the necessary devices with the CityHunters app and familiarized everyone with the concept: follow coordinates, solve puzzles, complete team challenges. That’s how our team building experience in Regensburg began, with a clear focus on cooperation and good spirits.
The teams were left to their own devices during the tour and discovered many of Regensburgs charming corners. Stations around Regensburg Cathedral, the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall provided not only photo opportunities but also tricky tasks that demanded creativity and communication. Points were awarded for correct solutions, clever ideas and successful team actions – the friendly competition boosts motivation and makes the whole thing actively fun.
I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues arose. That gave the teams confidence while they independently worked through the puzzles and explored the route. The weather cooperated, so the mood stayed upbeat and energetic the whole time.
After 2.5 hours everyone met back at the Historic Sausage Kitchen for the awards ceremony. Applause for the winners, many smiling faces and a lively exchange about the highlights of the tour rounded off the event. Moments like these strengthen team cohesion and stick in the memory – that’s exactly what makes a team building experience in Regensburg so valuable.
As a guide I especially enjoy when teams not only rediscover the city but also grow together.
