Team Building Event DKSR GmbH
On 28 June 2023 at 2:00 pm, the eleven participants from DKSR GmbH met punctually at the Palais am Festungsgraben, ready for an exciting Geocaching adventure through Mitte. We split the group into two motivated teams and soon set off into the city in high spirits.
As the team guide, I welcomed everyone, gave a short introduction and explained the plan. Each team received a tablet with our CityHunters app so coordinates, puzzles and team challenges were clearly visible. With the technology and the rules explained, we were off — and that’s precisely where the special feeling of a team building experience in Mitte begins.
The teams explored various corners of the city on their own, worked on tasks and collected points. From historic sites like the Brandenburg Gate and impressive sections of Museum Island to the majestic Berlin Cathedral, the tour combined playful challenges with real Mitte sights. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative collaboration on the team tasks.
While the teams competed, I stayed reachable by phone to quickly help with questions or technical problems. The independent work and friendly competition produced many small aha moments and strengthened cohesion: exactly what makes a good team building experience in Mitte.
The weather cooperated, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the tasks repeatedly led to short laughs and clever solutions. It was especially nice to see how the participants’ different strengths were combined and how suitable strategies emerged.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at the Palais am Festungsgraben for the awards ceremony. The tension was palpable as the points were tallied and the winning team was celebrated — a fitting close to an eventful afternoon full of discoveries.
This event once again showed how Geocaching brings people together: fun, competitive spirit and collaboration against the lively backdrop of Mitte. For DKSR GmbH it created a lasting experience that strengthened team dynamics and will be remembered by all involved for a long time. A team building experience in Mitte could hardly be better.
