Team Building Event Movianto Deutschlad GmbH
On June 27, 2023 at 3:00 PM I had the pleasure of serving as a team guide for a fantastic Geocaching tour with six colleagues from Movianto Deutschland GmbH in Heidelberg. We met at the familiar Universitaetsplatz, where I welcomed the group, gave a short briefing and built excitement for our shared adventure. The weather cooperated — ideal for a team building experience in Heidelberg.
With tablets and the CityHunters app in hand, the teams set off and explored the city in a playful way. Participants were on their own during the tour and competed in a friendly race to collect the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks — teamwork and ingenuity counted equally.
As guide I was reachable by phone and provided support when needed, but I deliberately stayed in the background so the teams could organize themselves. This mix of autonomy and light guidance creates exactly what makes a team building experience in Heidelberg special: shared moments, exchange and a workout for the brain.
The route led the groups past some of the city's most beautiful spots. Between missions and puzzles, clues kept pointing to landmarks like Heidelberg Castle, the Old Bridge and Ruprecht-Karls University, turning the game into an interactive discovery tour through the historic old town.
The tasks were designed so everyone could contribute their strengths — from tricky codes to creative photo assignments and small team challenges. Laughter, strategic planning and surprising ideas shaped the afternoon and produced genuine moments of connection.
After exactly 3.00 hours all teams reconvened at Universitaetsplatz for the award ceremony. The excitement was tangible as the scores were announced, and of course there was applause for particularly clever solutions. Moments like these make a team building experience in Heidelberg unforgettable.
