Team Building Event Capgemini
On June 20, 2023 at 5:00 p.m., the 38 participants from Capgemini gathered at Grabbeplatz, eager and ready for our Murder Mystery Geocaching through Düsseldorf.
As the team guide, I welcomed the group, gave a brief overview of the game and divided everyone into six teams. After a short introduction and the distribution of tablets, the adventure began — a perfect mix of digital support and real-world clue hunting. This is real team building experience in Düsseldorf: exciting, energizing and focused on finding solutions together.
The route led the teams past the citys landmarks. From a look at the Rheinturm to a detour along the Königsallee and stops near the Museum Kunstpalast, familiar sights became stages for mysterious investigations. The app supplied clues and tasks that could only be solved as a team with a sharp eye.
During the tour the groups moved independently and engaged in a friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, clever team challenges and good collaboration. I remained reachable by phone for questions or technical issues but deliberately stayed in the background so the teams could show their strengths.
The weather cooperated, spirits were high and the atmosphere buzzed with energy — exactly what a team building experience in Düsseldorf stands for: shared moments that connect people. Communication within the teams grew, creative solutions were tried and successes were celebrated loudly.
After exactly two hours everyone met back at Grabbeplatz for the awards ceremony. Enthusiasm and pride filled the air as the winning team was announced and the highlights were shared once more. Moments like these make our Murder Mystery Geocaching a lasting experience for companies like Capgemini.
I am glad we were able to experience Düsseldorf from a new perspective. A team building experience in Düsseldorf can succeed playfully here, with excitement, fun and genuine team spirit — a wonderful memory for all involved.
