Team Building Event B&W Handelsgesellschaft mbH
The 36 participants from B&W Handelsgesellschaft mbH gathered in Bischofswerda on 16 June 2023 at 3:00 pm, full of curiosity and enthusiasm, ready for our iPad Murder Mystery Tour.
As the team guide I welcomed the group at the parking lot on Herrmannstraße and briefly explained the plan: after an introduction to using the iPads we divided the participants into seven teams. Then everyone set off in their investigator roles — ready to find clues and solve puzzles.
The digital Scavenger Hunt took the teams through the charming streets of Bischofswerda, past the historic old town, the impressive St. Benno site and even within sight of the Bischofswerda Animal and Culture Park. Using the app the groups navigated from location to location, collected points and completed creative team challenges.
During the roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour the teams were on their own and competed against each other in friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and clever team solutions — real teamwork was required. I was of course available by phone in case of questions or technical problems.
The weather cooperated, providing pleasant conditions: not too hot, warm enough to enjoy the city. Just the right mix to focus on the puzzles while also discovering Bischofswerda's sights. This combination is what makes our team building experience in Bischofswerda so rewarding and fun.
After 2.5 hours all teams met again at the parking lot on Herrmannstraße for the joint awards ceremony. In high spirits and with many smiling faces we celebrated the winning teams and looked back on the highlights of the game. Moments like these strengthen team bonds and stay in the memory for a long time.
A day like this shows how effective a team building experience in Bischofswerda can be: playful, energizing and full of shared successes. I already look forward to the next adventure with motivated teams in this beautiful city.
