Team Building Event Apis
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a lively iPad Tour for the company Apis in Pisa on 14 June 2023. At 09:30 exactly 34 motivated colleagues met at our meeting point at Largo Cocco Griffi where I welcomed them and introduced the CityHunters app and how to use the iPads.
The group was split into five teams and after a short briefing the teams set off to discover Pisa in a whole new way. Our iPad Tour combines modern technology with playful exploration — the app showed live scores provided clues and offered an encouraging live chat. Sightseeing thus turned into a true team building experience in Pisa.
The route took the teams past iconic sights such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa the Pisa Cathedral and the Piazza dei Miracoli. At various stations tricky puzzles and creative team tasks awaited that tested observation communication and inventiveness. The challenges were designed so everyone on the team could contribute — exactly what makes for a good team building experience in Pisa.
During the roughly three-hour tour the teams were on their own competing for the highest points. I was reachable by phone to help with technical questions or uncertainties but deliberately stayed in the background so the groups could work independently.
The weather cooperated and created a cheerful atmosphere — ideal conditions to walk through the city laugh and get to know one another better. Pisa showed itself at its best and the mix of culture history and state-of-the-art Scavenger Hunt technology thrilled all participants.
After about three hours everyone met again at Largo Cocco Griffi for the awards ceremony. The top three teams were honored with medals and there were joyful congratulations all around. Moments like these remain in the team’s memory for a long time.
For me it was once again fulfilling to see how an iPad Tour not only is fun but also strengthens team spirit. team building experience in Pisa is achieved here playfully interactively and sustainably — a great experience for any company that wants to rediscover the city and their colleagues.
