Team Building Event Praxis Dr Brüggemann
Brunswick combines historic treasures and a lively urban culture in its own charming way.
On June 8, 2023, at 2:30 PM I had the pleasure of guiding a Geocaching event for CityHunters with 14 participants from the Dr Brüggemann practice. We met at the cathedral square, and with pleasant weather everyone gathered and the anticipation was palpable.
After a brief welcome and an explanation of the plan I split the group into two teams and handed out the tablets with our CityHunters app. The tasks and rules were clear: on the tour through Brunswick city center teams had to solve puzzles, complete team challenges and collect as many points as possible. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues came up.
The teams explored the city on their own and discovered both well-known and hidden spots: the mighty Brunswick Cathedral, Dankwarderode Castle and the proud Brunswick Lion gave the Scavenger Hunt a historic charm. At each station colleagues faced varied challenges that demanded creativity, communication and joint effort. The competitive spirit created a great atmosphere, plenty of laughs and genuine aha moments.
This experience once again showed how effective a team building experience in Brunswick can be: puzzling together, quick coordination and celebrating small successes noticeably strengthened the sense of togetherness. A team building experience in Brunswick combines sightseeing with playful collaboration and creates memories that last beyond the workday.
After exactly 3.00 hours everyone met back at the cathedral square for the awards ceremony. While tallying the points successes were shared, photos were taken and team spirit was celebrated once more. It was wonderful to see how much the teams had bonded and how much fun the whole group had.
Events like this demonstrate that Geocaching as a company event is not only an entertaining city adventure but above all a powerful tool for sustainable team building in Brunswick. I already look forward to the next tour through this multifaceted city.
