Team Building Event Unfallkasse Nord
Perfect weather accompanied our iPad Tour on the afternoon of June 8, 2023 and immediately set the mood as I welcomed the group from Unfallkasse Nord at 3:45 PM on Hindenburgallee in Malente.
A total of 47 participants took part. I greeted them warmly and gave a short introduction to handling the iPads and our CityHunters app. After the brief instructions the colleagues were divided into seven teams and the adventure began: modern technology meets city exploration — an ideal setting for a team building experience in Malente.
The teams wandered independently through the town's charming lanes and green corners. Along the way well known spots such as Kurpark Malente, the Maria Magdalena Church and the Holzberg Tower became stations for exciting puzzles and creative tasks. Every challenge demanded communication, problem solving and enjoyment of working together — and rewarded points. The point scoring motivated everyone and the friendly competition brought a lot of energy to the groups.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, though I remained reachable by phone at all times in case of technical questions or small uncertainties. The CityHunters app supported the experience with live information and an overview of the current standings — just the right format for an effective team building experience in Malente.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, surprises and proven teamwork: ideas were exchanged, strategies developed and successes celebrated together. It was wonderful to see colleagues reveal different sides than in the office, contribute strengths and support one another — exactly in line with our concept for a team building experience in Malente.
After two hours all groups met again on Hindenburgallee for the joint award ceremony. While the points were being tallied there was applause, laughter and the winning team was properly celebrated. Experiences like this connect people, are a lot of fun and stay in the memory.
