Team Building Event Fröbel Kita Kinderland
The sun shone from a clear blue sky — perfect weather for an active morning in Potsdam.
As the team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed 18 motivated colleagues from the company Fröbel Kita Kinderland at Bassinplatz on 30 May 2023 at 9:00 a.m. After a brief introduction to the tour and the CityHunters app, the three teams received their tasks and tablets and set off full of anticipation. Team building experience in Potsdam began immediately: planning together, laughing, and putting the first strategies into practice.
The route took the groups through Potsdam’s varied and historic corners. At stops around the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Barberini and the Nauener Tor they had to solve puzzles, find clues and complete creative team challenges. Every solved riddle and successful cooperation earned points — the competitive spirit added extra motivation while the focus remained on cohesion and fun.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, enjoying a friendly rivalry and relying on their respective strengths. I was reachable by phone for technical questions or tricky situations and could offer discreet support without spoiling the fun. That mix of challenge and responsibility is exactly what makes our Geocaching experience a powerful form of team building experience in Potsdam.
After just under three hours everyone met back at Bassinplatz for the award ceremony. The suspense was high: which team had collected the most points? At the final gathering there was plenty to talk about — surprising discoveries, clever solutions and the small moments that bring a team closer together. This shared experience clearly showed how well playful tasks and genuine encounters can be combined.
Team building experience in Potsdam works best when it is playful, active and full of experiences. If you want to discover the city in a different way while strengthening togetherness, I recommend our Geocaching format — a refreshing mix of city tour, puzzle fun and teamwork.
