Team Building Event NTT DATA Deutschland GmbH
Herrsching am Ammersee enchants with its mix of lakeside, historic buildings and a lively town center – the perfect setting for a special team building event. On May 24, 2023 at 6:00 PM I had the pleasure, as a CityHunters team guide, of welcoming 39 colleagues from NTT DATA Deutschland GmbH and inviting them to an exciting iPad Tour.
Everyone met at the train station, received a short briefing and was divided into six teams. After a quick introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app we were off: each team received a tablet as their hub, and the high-tech Scavenger Hunt began.
Our route led the groups through the town center, past sights such as St. Martin and Villa Sturm and along the Ammersee waterfront. At every station interactive tasks and creative puzzles waited, requiring not only knowledge but above all team spirit, observation and creativity. In this way a team building experience in Herrsching am Ammersee became vivid and immediate.
The teams were on their own during the tour, competing in a friendly rivalry for the most points. The CityHunters app connected all groups in real time, showed scores and enabled motivating exchanges in the live chat. I was reachable by phone throughout the route to assist with questions or technical issues.
The weather cooperated, and the mood was at once exuberant and focused – a combination that created ideal conditions for a successful team building experience in Herrsching am Ammersee. Small aha moments while solving puzzles and loud cheers for successful team tasks made the tour an entertaining experience.
After about 1.5 hours all six teams met again at the station for the awards ceremony. When the results were announced fun was the main focus, but of course there was plenty of applause for the winning team.
