Team Building Event AGFW Projekt GmbH
Brunswick delights with its history, charming atmosphere and intriguing corners that are perfect for a shared adventure.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a Geocaching event for AGFW Projekt GmbH on 24 May 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Twelve colleagues met in front of the Steigenberger Parkhotel on Nimes Street, and after a warm welcome I explained the schedule and the rules. Each person received a tablet with our CityHunters app and a brief introduction so everyone could start the tour fully prepared.
We split the group into five teams and then we were off: a playful team building experience in Brunswick. The route passed well known sights such as Brunswick Cathedral, Dankwarderode Castle and the Brunswick Lion. At several stations the teams faced tricky puzzles and creative group challenges that earned points. The teams were on their own during the tour and enjoyed a friendly competition to collect the most points.
It was important to me to be reachable at all times - if groups had technical questions or uncertainties they could contact me by phone. This safety net gave everyone the freedom to focus on their strengths and work together on solutions. The good weather also helped keep spirits high and energy levels up throughout the tour.
After about two and a half hours we regrouped in front of the Steigenberger Parkhotel for the award ceremony. There we announced which team had scored most cleverly - a great finale that rounded off the shared experience. Moments like these show how lasting a team building experience in Brunswick can be: cohesion, communication and the joy of shared success became visible.
