Team Building Event Staatsanwalschaft Passau
The day turned out perfect and exploring the old town in bright sunshine was twice the fun. As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure on May 17, 2023 to lead a Murder Mystery Geocaching event for the Public Prosecutor's Office in Passau with 29 participants — a real highlight for our team building experience in Regensburg.
We met at Haidplatz promptly at 10:00, welcomed the group and split everyone into five teams. After a short introduction the teams received their assignment: use the app and a tablet to solve mysterious cases, gather clues and complete team tasks. Regensburg’s alleys, Regensburg Cathedral and the Stone Bridge became exciting locations — turning sightseeing into an interactive crime story and giving team building experience in Regensburg a whole new dimension.
During the tour the teams were left to their own devices and enjoyed a friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and cleverly handled team challenges; I stayed reachable by phone in case anything needed attention. It was impressive to watch different talents come together to crack tricky tasks — that is exactly what successful team building experience in Regensburg is about.
The route took the groups past other notable sights, such as the Old Town Hall and the Benedictine Abbey of St. Emmeram, so alongside the investigative challenge the beauty of the city was also put in the spotlight. Many participants enthusiastically reported how the shared puzzling encouraged interaction and strengthened team spirit.
After exactly three hours all teams met again at Haidplatz for the award ceremony. At the closing gathering we celebrated the top detective teams — lots of laughter, eager anecdotes from the tour and satisfied faces made for a perfect finale. For me as a team guide it was great fun to see colleagues turn into an effective investigative crew.
