Our event concept blends modern technology with playful city exploration: the CityHunters iPad Tour is all about discovering together, solving creative puzzles and strengthening team spirit — a true team building experience in Nauen.
On May 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Kiwigrid GmbH at the meeting point in front of the library on Town Hall Square in Nauen as their team guide. After a brief introduction to the CityHunters app and the iPads, the eight participants were split into two teams. The mood was excited and focused — perfect conditions for a successful team building event.
Over the next three hours the teams explored Nauen on their own. The route led to well-known spots like the historic Town Hall, the water tower and St. Jacobi Church, where a variety of tasks awaited them at different stations. Our challenges combine history, culture and high-tech: photos, puzzles, small team tasks and creative challenges kept things varied and engaging.
The two teams competed in a friendly rivalry to score the most points. Points were earned by correctly solved puzzles and well-executed team tasks — which encouraged clever collaboration, clear communication and sometimes quick strategy under time pressure. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour so I could assist immediately with any questions or technical issues.
The lovely weather added to the positive atmosphere and made exploring Nauen even more enjoyable. Watching colleagues discover new sides of one another and collaborate creatively as a team is always a special moment for me. This live team building experience in Nauen brings groups closer together fast and leaves a lasting impression.
After three hours everyone met back at the starting point for an award ceremony. The teams enthusiastically shared their highlights and the winning team received deserved recognition. Moments like these show that a team building experience in Nauen can be both challenging and very rewarding.
